Travel Review: Japan

Arigato Gozaimasu, Nippon! Some of the best times await you in the land of the rising sun. Japan, rich in history and infused with technological advances far beyond that of the United States, is the perfect place to escape to. Tokyo, the most known city hosts many opportunities to view the culture like: Sumo Tournaments, Baseball Games, Oeno Park, Temples, Shrines, etc. For Tokyo Nightlife head to Roppongi, the sect that hosts some of the best clubs and international appeal or Shibuya. Other Sects to check out Harajuku, Asakusa, and Akihabara.
Kyoto, the former capitol city, boasts many shrines (like the golden one!) and gives an older feel when in parts that are a must see. When around Osaka both the Deer roaming city of Nara with its Huge Buddha shrine and the architectural masterpiece of the Hemeji Castle in Hemeji are only a train ride away.
The amazing thing about Japan is moving around these cities is fairly easy through the subway system that takes you practically anywhere in each city. Although being a bit expensive, it is well worth it for the experience. The Japanese National Tourism Organization (http://www.jnto.go.jp/eng/) is a website that helps bring the country of Japan to tourists
Get use to hearing: "Irrashaimasu" (its kinda of like a thank you/welcome)

Travel Review: Italy

Italy is a mixture of old world living and new. I have found that each city in the country boasts its own culture and atmosphere over the two weeks of my stay. The train system set up in Italy is most efficient when planing to travel from city to city. From Venizia's (Venice) canals, bridges and gondolas to Milano's (Milan) cathedrals, cafes, and shops every city your go promises to bring something new. Roma (Rome) is one of the greatest cities to visit and definitely has a culture clash.....During the day you have the Coliseum, Sistine Chapel, The Vatican, and Ancient Ruins. During the Night in Rome offers one amazing thing PUB CRAWLING, you pay one flat price get into 5 pubs (that play American music!) and travel with alot of people your own age from one to another. Firenze (Florance), is home of great food, leathers, and nearby Leaning tower of Piza. Napoli (Naples), has its castles, shopping and access to two islands that you definitely should check out ( Capri and Ischia). Italy definitely can be the time of your life whether your looking for a family vacation or a trip with friends.

what can you do...

Things in this world are inevitable like having to stop at stoplights because of a slow driver or waiting in lines behind that oblivious mother with the annoyingly bratty offspring. Annoyances as futile as these can be huge frustrations and cause your day to be thrown off. But people have the overwhelming ability to ruin your day...don't let them. Whether it be that friend who is having a bad day so they are being a complete &%$#@$$ or that someone in your life who constantly nags at your for something they want. Sometimes it is just better to the leave the situation..scream, exercise, eat etc (whatever clears your head)....and go about your day because chances are tomorrow will be better....well lets hope so. Dont stress over shit..go with the flow (corny i know) and just live your life.

out.
